Rashna Hackett

Colour, Colour and more Colour. No plans, instinctively driven. Bright, Bold and Detailed Paintings. Abstract Paintings that are ready to hang.

I use Acrylics, often I hand grind pigments. I use a peppering of Lokta Paper (LP is a handmade artisan paper indigenous to Nepal).

I never have a plan of what I want to paint. I allow instinct to guide my process. I also allow one colour to call upon the next colour and then the next…

The end results are bright and colourful paintings that I often think “Where did you come from?”

My paintings are collected in many countries including different States in America, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore and various cities in Europe.

Of course not forgetting in many cities around the UK
