Sarah Sharpe

The entanglement of human emotion and nature; inspired by internal and external observation, the written word and imagination.

The entanglement of human emotion and nature; inspired by internal and external observation, the written word and imagination. Etching, Lithography and Paint are my choice of Media. I have been a practicing artist for ten years and am presently immersed in a year long woodland project where ancient woodland in Sheffield informs my present practice. Along side this I am presently working on a painting called ‘Eve’ which will be part of a group touring exhibition in 2017 titled ‘The Adam and Eve Project’. Further information on my website.

Over the past three years I have exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, The Royal College Arts London with National Open Art, won the Harley Foundation Prize (Harley Gallery, Welbeck Estate) and the Trustees Prize at the Great North Art Show Ripon Cathedral.
