I started working as a professional sculptor in my late teens and exhibited internationally over the years to follow. Art has always been a defining part of my life, and now, some years later, post children, post settling down, art has found its way back to the forefront. However, now I would say I am more a painter who also sculpts.
I am very emotionally attached to my work; the colour, texture, and line I use are often in direct response to my mood. The figure is a constant theme for me, whether on its own, or as a presence in an abstracted landscape.
I work on several paintings and commissions simultaneously, each drawing ideas and influences from the others.
