My interest in nature and art began when I was very small, dog walking in the green spaces of Sheffield with my Grandad, a keen gardener and observer of life. I grew up drawing and painting and making my own versions of nature and the creatures in it.
My working life began as a trainee window dresser which morphed along a very winding road into a software tester, I felt like something was missing so I took a course on Art & Design, and my interest in creative pursuit’s was reignited. I decided to become what I had always meant to be and rediscover my artistic soul. I have since explored the glittering world of textiles, photography, recycled objects, wool, eco printing, and am currently smitten by making Paper Clay art. I enjoy mixing media and textures together to create interesting and sometimes unexpected results, I produce mainly 3d pieces.
