I have lived and worked in Sheffield all my adult life love its ethnic diversity and the hills that bring spectacular views. Many of my skyscapes are of Sheffield with the urban landscape much smaller but nevertheless significant. My aim is to capture the changing skies through building up layers of paint reflecting the changing human state, and our response to the natural world.
My dream paintings are visions gained during meditation as colourful responses in light and movement.
I have exhibited internationally from outer Mongolia to Australia, China, India to name a few as well as in Malaysia my paternal home. In Sheffield I have worked passionately to connect people with diversity with each other and the natural world that I also respond to in my Live Art which along with my paintings and photography was a focus of my art practice based PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University.
