I am probably best known for my “Nocturnal Townscapes” and “Fantasy Industrial scenes” painted in acrylic, but I have recently become engrossed in painting a series of very small “impressionistic landscapes” which are very unlike my “normal” work.
However, I am really a multimedia artist and I have produced work in many subject areas and in various media.
I have latterly produced many small sculptures in Paper mache and in past years I made a series of wooden Automata.
I am in the process of re-establishing my workshop with the intention of returning to Automata production, so at the time of writing, it is very difficult to predict what will be on show for the 2018 OpenUp.
There will definitely be a collection of paintings (including the “new landscapes”), some small papier-mâché sculptures and possibly an automata or two. It all depends where inspiration leads.
