Tony Maj
I am a visual artist primarily working in mediums of photography and video.
My work acknowledges the influences of cinema, sculpture and painting with my interests rooted in a curiosity in regard to space and situations.
I am particularly interested in manipulation of place to encourage ambiguity. With a mix of performance and sculpture, I create visual expressions that reflect and celebrate my observations.
I also enjoy composing music to accompany my video work. These are often no more than an embellishment of repetitive sounds, either electronically made or collected.
