An antique spiral staircase leads to my light and airy teaching studio where, over the last ten years, I have been running Handmade in Netheredge creative workshops in fused glass and Precious Metal Clay silver jewellery.
In my adjacent studio I work on commissions for chanderliers, washbasins, splashbacks for the kitchen and bathroom, water features and sculptures. These are original works of art for the home, garden and office.
Wherever possible I use recycled glass and pure silver which is recycled from the car industry.
There is nothing more that I love than to bring out the creativity in others, particularly beginners, and to see their pride in the work they have created. My workshops are ideal for individuals, parties or corporate team building.
I draw my inspiration from nature, especially the sea.
Refreshments will be served in the quirky sculptural garden and summerhouse in aid of St Lukes Hospice.
