Having previously worked in fashion design and product development, in 2016 I focused my skills to train as a shoemaker. I now run my own workshop (Noble & Wylie) making shoes from high quality chrome tanned leathers, Vegetable tanned leathers which I hand dyed using oil-based dyes, and Vegan Lorica ‘leather’.
My shoes are made using the Veldtschoen / Stitchdown construction, producing a durable shoe which is fully repairable. Each pair of shoes are crafted from beginning to end by one pair of hands, and are offered in a range of colours and material types to suit requirements. I am passionate about ethical, local business, and believe the most ethical products are ones which are truly made to last. I expect my shoes to serve for at least 10 years and I am able to resole and repair on site when necessary.
