Alison Riggott

Alison is a contemporary jewellery designer drawing inspiration from favourite artists and the natural world, particularly her love of trees, flowers and their symbolism.

Alison is a contemporary jewellery designer drawing inspiration from her favourite artist, Gustav Klimt and his interpretation of the natural world, illustrating her love of trees, flowers and their symbolism.

Alison’s design background and training provide a strong foundation for her work in Argentium silver, sterling silver and gold and is intrinsic to her meticulously thought out metalwork designs using techniques such as fusing, granulation and Keum Boo.

Sculptural form, texture and use of contrasting metals feature heavily in many of the ranges that Alison designs and creates in her Sheffield-based studio.
