Hanging Fees

  • 1 item £5.00
  • Up to 3 items £12.00
  • Up to 5 items £16.00
  • Small 3-D work e.g. a collection of jewellery £5.00

Artwork Specifications

  • No size restrictions on 2-D work, artists may submit up to five pieces
  • One freestanding  locked cabinet will be available for small 3-D work, so any 3-D work submitted must fit inside (email for details if not sure)
  • You can submit a piece of work in any medium including prints.
  • Frames used must be well-made and finished. Unframed canvases must be tidily finished around the edges. Hung works should have a hanging cord, attached with D-Rings, that cannot be seen when the picture is hung.
  • You must label your piece on the back (name of artist, title, price if for sale).

Insurance

All artists must provide evidence that they have PPL insurance.
All artists must have their own exhibition insurance, or sign a waiver absolving Open Up and DINA venue of responsibility or liability for the artworks.

Pre-Show & Post-Show

If your application is successful, you will be emailed with the exhibition venue and timings. (If unsuccessful, your hanging fee will be returned). Please bring proof of insurance with you when delivering. Your artwork will not be accepted otherwise. Open Up Sheffield will not be responsible for uncollected artwork and there is nowhere to store it.

Sales

If your artwork is for sale, potential buyers will contact you directly. Your work will be labelled with your name, preferred contact details, and the price of each piece.
