Amadora

I am a Sheffield based artist and specialise in portraiture and urban paintings inspired by my hometown. My style is expressive and I use vibrant colours which is a core theme across my work.
Taking inspiration from the external energy and vibrancy of city life, I works in acrylic to capture cityscapes; in particular iconic venues from my hometown such as The Leadmill. I am also currently expanding my portfolio to capture scenes of Manchester.
Alongside this external inspiration, I explore the inner workings of thoughts and emotions through portraiture and aim to capture the energy of my subjects through colour and expressive brushstrokes.
I am a self-taught artist and my artistic journey began in lockdown 2020. My work is now held in many public and private collections in the UK and internationally. I recently won the 2025 Peak District Artisans Emerging Artist Award.
