Amy Sansom

Amy Sansom

Illustrator and designer from Lancashire, living between my sketchbook and screen. I use muted tones and neon pops to build dense viewpoints commenting on our world.

My practice began with the basics of pencil and oil paint and honestly not much has changed. While my tools are definitely flashier now spanning; bold graphics, murals, product design and digital painting, the heart of my work is still just me telling visual stories.

I see art as a way to invite conversation and question the world around us. I intentionally pack my illustrations with detail creating a necessary opposition to the lack of intentional detail found in the noise of AI. I’m hopeful that one day every room will have a pleasant view but for now I hope you’ll come along and observe the ones I’ve built.
