Oil paintings completed outdoors or in my studio. New work will be available including the Peak District and local area. I will be painting during visits and happy to discuss my painting process.

I enjoy the flexibility and consistency of oils to create my artwork, capturing the fleeting effects of light and movement in my work. My painting process usually starts from outdoor oil sketches to gain familiarity and a connection with a location. This I find key to developing my work. Often this can be the finished painting, or they are used as a reference for work completed in my studio.

My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

About my studio

My studio is located in my garden and was built by myself when I became a full-time artist in 2020. Framed and unframed paintings will be available and you can view an artists working space.
