David Helm
I went to art college as a painter, but was captivated by the ceramics process. Forty years later I am still working in this most exciting of mediums.
I produce stoneware, mostly functional pottery, but also quirky one-off sculptural pieces.
My current obsession is wood firing, which gives my work stunning depth of glaze finishes.
Studio visits
My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

- Monday May 5th
- Saturday May 10th
- Sunday May 11th

Spacious studio in ancient barn, in Sally and Nigel’s wonderful home.
