David Helm

I make functional and sculptural ceramics in the Japanese tradition, including both electric fired, gas fired and wood fired pieces.
I will be demonstrating, making and selling my work in the beautiful surroundings of fellow makers Nigel Cunis and Sally Cunis at Woolley Manor House, Silkstone. This is the location of the wood-fired kiln which will also be open for viewing. The results of the wood firing are often unique, with depth of colour and toasting impossible to achieve by other firing methods.
