Denise Wrightson
Skies, clouds, cityscapes and flowers are my beautiful obsessions. I paint on panels and paper, large and small so there’s something for everyone. I look forward to welcoming you.
I paint quickly and instinctively from imagination, memory and sometimes photos. Beauty is my goal. Light and colour are my tools. The love of paint is in my heart and in my hands. I am at war with the dull and the ugly and I am armed only with a paintbrush. Also, I have a really good sense of humour!
I have been fortunate to be selected for exhibitions at the Mall Galleries in London, including the ING Discerning Eye 2023 and 2024 and shortlisted for the New English Art Club (NEAC) 2024 exhibition at the same venue.
So, please do come see me and my fellow artists at the Meanwhile Space and bask in the colour and light that we humbly offer up.
