Karen Perkins

I create lively mixed media & digital art, inspired by hiking and photography in the Peak District & Sheffield. I’m showing my work & love sketching with Celia Bennett at her Nethergreen studio.

I love the outdoors, nature, architecture and returned to doing art, recently having spent years looking, photographing & loving it. I combine mixed media and digital art in my work. I will be selling cards, prints & paintings. Celia and I will be exhibiting in her studio, in an old Yorkshire stone terraced cottage in Nethergreen. We’ll have lots of work available for sale and there will undoubtedly be some live sketching done during the 3 days.

Nethergreen is a lovely area with many coffee shops and delis nearby plus cafes at Bingham Park, Endcliffe Park and Forge Dam are just a couple of minutes drive away.

Reach us sustainably if you want by using the No. 83 bus, which stops at the end of Pendeen road. Note : There is no parking on Pendeen Rd.

I have coached & mentored artists, was a proud member of Sheffield Creative Guild and helped set up the 2025 Hope Valley Art Trail by Rail, running sketching & collage workshops.
