A multimedia intuitive artist working with acrylic paint and collage. I take inspiration from the outdoors. My work is bold, colourful, energetic and affordable.

This is my first time taking part in open up. My aim is to produce affordable art so more people can enjoy the pleasure of having an original artwork. I’m going to be repurposing frames where possible. I’m a biologist by training and I love nature and being outside so much of my work is inspired by this. I also really like graphic design and my work combines these elements. Quite a lot of my paintings get ripped up and collaged. I like building up layers to create a sense of history in both my paintings and collage. There is often the ‘big design’ but then when you zoom in, you see lots of smaller details and always something interesting going on. Most of my work is semi-abstract with a few figurative elements. I also like painting pigeons so expect them too! My house is 2 minutes walk from Art in the Aisles so you can combine them both.
