Kate Ackroyd Cooke

I make unique contemporary stoneware ceramics on a potter’s wheel in my garden studio. They are made in small batches with glazes and textures inspired by the Peak District gritstone edges.
My pottery is produced with careful thought to the design so they can be used and loved. Each piece is made with intention to link you to a slower way of life, to the natural world and the creative process.
You will be able to look around my small garden studio and see me demonstrate aspects of the making process. I will also have a selection of my pottery available for sale.
