Lindy Furby

New to Sheffield, I am exploring the Peak District – walking and painting. I make plates from my paintings and print them in my studio.
I am an artist printmaker – I have a new studio in Meersbrook. I am exploring the Peak District by walking and water colour painting what I see.
Back in the studio I make collagraph plates from the paintings and print small editions (10). Each print is inked up separately with lots of colours, so actually when it is printed it is unique.
I am committed to affordable art and my prints fit into IKEA frames.
I have around 30 prints of the Peak District, and also, since I have just moved down from Edinburgh, many prints of Scotland.
Come and visit me in my garden studio- I will explain and demonstrate collagraph printing and show you my sketches and the process of making the plates. You can buy my prints framed or unframed, or a wee card.
