Lizzy Alageswaran
Inspired by wild places, I’ll be showing fresh small landscapes alongside larger detailed works celebrating our fragile landscape and those who work to protect it.
I love birds, wild places and also painting portraits, so have very much enjoyed the series I am currently painting, which combines portraiture with references to wild places and fragile habitats.
These paintings take some time so painting smaller sketches in the wild or painting from my photographs is a refreshing contrast.
When I am not painting I enjoy teaching art classes independently or for the WEA, and shortly in my own space. My mural work has travelled the world and I have won Best in Show at Art in the Gardens Open and also best in Genre.
Artwork, cards and beautiful giclee prints of my artworks are available to buy., and I look forward to welcoming you to my studio.
