I work with oil paints to create moody and atmospheric pieces full of energy and movement. I want to share my awe of the landscape.
I am a completely self-taught artist. My artworks are created through a series of sketches, notes and photographs, but mostly through the continual observation of my surroundings and experiences. Larger pieces are then created from these memories back in the studio.
Working predominantly with oils, applying the paint with palette knives, brushes and my hands, I create layers and textures, which give the paintings a sense of movement. I strive to keep my work evolving through experimental techniques and the use of other mixed media, capturing the enjoyment and sheer fun of creating.
Finished works are available on various surfaces; paper, panel and canvases all in varying sizes, depending on the subject. As well as original large art pieces, I have a range of mini original paintings to suit a smaller budget. I also have a variety of art cards and fine art prints, all of which you can see in my studio.

My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

- Monday May 5th

- Sunday May 11th
About my studio
In my studio you can see where I work, equipment, works in progress and finished pieces on the gallery wall.
- Visitors to the studio will be able to buy my work
- I’m happy to undertake commissions – please ask!
- I provide workshops & private tuition

- Studio access is step free
- Parking for 40 minutes directly outside, space permitting
- A public long stay car park is a 2 minute walk away with public toilets
- Well behaved dogs welcome
