Tara Cavanagh

I’m a self taught needle felt artist of 7+ years under the name Little Felted Dreams . I love creating and sharing my passion for needle felting; a creative outlet only restricted by a persons imagination. I work primarily with a single needle and sheep’s wool. My designs have a cutesy style influenced by folklore, wildlife and more recently my perception of a changed self.

I am currently a stockist at All Good Stuff at Butcher Works on Arundle Street Sheffield a creative gem in the heart of the City centre. I also design and run accessible needle felting workshops within Sheffield. As part of Open Up I will be demonstrating various needle felting techniques , sharing a variety of completed pieces, work in progress and hosting a limited number of short drop in taster workshops across each weekend.

My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

• Saturday May 4th
• Sunday May 5th
• Saturday May 11th
• Sunday May 12th

Although I create from home I will be opening up at the Butcher Works Gallery Space.

• Visitors to the studio will be able to buy my work
• I offer workshops & tuition
