Celia Bennett

I’m an adventurous artist who uses dynamic brush strokes to express my love of colour and texture. Some of my paintings are very big and I’m always open to commissions.

My landscape and seascape paintings are full of movement, life, and light. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums, mostly using mixed media or watercolour for my paintings, and watercolour with ink for my sketches. I love sketching outdoors, capturing the essence of places and people.

I run weekly art classes to adults here in Sheffield, covering a wide range of subjects and different mediums. I love sharing my passion for drawing and painting. It’s awesome to watch students grow in confidence as they explore various techniques in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. I genuinely believe everyone can learn to paint if they have support and encouragement from a good tutor.

My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

• Saturday May 3rd
• Sunday May 4th
• Monday May 5th
• Saturday May 10th
• Sunday May 11th

Come and see my work, flick through sketches and class demos and watch me demonstrate. I’ll be exhibiting with four other fabulous artists: Denise Wrightson, Anna Perotti, Eva Juusola and Samantha Groom.
