I am inspired by nature and it’s raw beauty . I love experiencing the feeling of simply being alive in all the elements whether it’s sunny or stormy.

I believe that art can recreate these experiences and it can take us to places we may never visit or places and experiences that we want to revisit in our minds eye.

It should stir our soul.

I work intuitively and from my own reference photos. I use photos to jolt my memory into recalling how I felt when I was actually there. I use acrylic paint, oil pastels, crayons, pencils and handmade collage and items that I have collected that are pertinent to my subject and personal to me. Using this method means that my paintings ‘talk’ to me and lead me down unexpected paths.

Only when I love each part of the painting do I know it’s finished.

My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

• Saturday May 4th
• Sunday May 5th
• Monday May 6th
• Saturday May 11th
• Sunday May 12th

Located at the bottom of our garden. Recent artwork and method of working will be on display.

• I’m happy to undertake commissions – please ask!
• I provide tuitions & workshops
