Helene Fletcher

I am an abstract painter, using mixed media on canvas and paper and jazz music. I am trying to capture what happens in painting when our unconscious being and existential becoming meet.

This year, I will open my studio in the Artist in Residence space at the Drawing Shop gallery in Hillsborough. This amazing art project is open freely to anyone.
I will show and sell my work on paper mainly and will be happy to talk about my creative process using jazz and various techniques/tools to capture marks and images from spontaneous and unintended gestures.

My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

About my studio

The Artist in residence studio at The Drawing Shop and Gallery project in Hillsborough is a screened space on the right inside of the large drawing room downstairs and access free.
