I work with large-scale figurative painting and use surreal imagery to explore the boundary between human and animal natures.
I work with large-scale figurative painting and use surreal imagery to explore the boundary between human and animal natures in the genre of surreal primitivism. My practice focuses on transformation, instinct, and the coexistence of corporeal and psychological states within a single image. My main artistic tools: fluidity of forms, noses, ornaments,non-existent creatures. I usually use gel pens. I illustrate avant-garde poems and plays, and participate in a lot in non-commercial projects.
Studio visits
My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

About my studio
RivelinCo’s community space is a former high street shopfront on Middlewood Road. Studio access is step free. We have an accessible toilet and gendered toilets.
