Marion Anniss

I work across a range of media focussing primarily on textiles, digital and collagraph printing.

I have worked in textiles for a long time and have City and Guild Qualifications and a Higher Professional Diploma in Creative textiles. I usually work within a theme – often landscapes but occasionally historical. I develop my ideas and designs in sketchbooks and then into textile art. I work across many textile techniques and materials, including needle felting. The common thread throughout most of my pieces are instances of handstitching which I feel add pattern, colour and texture to my design backgrounds.

My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

About my studio

My studio is in the attic of an Edwardian house.

Visitors to the studio will be able to buy my work

Ground floor with steps
There are two back door steps into my house and one at the front. Both under cover
As access to my studio is two floors up, most of my work will be displayed on the ground floor
