Ruth Miemczyk
My work encompasses drawing, painting, collage, assemblage and installation. I often use found objects that tell a story, real or imagined.
Absence, separation and loss are themes that reverberate throughout my work, often referencing growing up with two cultures, one English, one Polish. My work explores the materiality of surface, how it holds and reveals stories of human interaction, sparking memory and imagination.
Studio visits
My studio will be open for visits on the following days:

About my studio
My studio is located in my home. It is full of the many materials I use for making work and will have works in progress. There will be finished work to view, on display throughout the house.
- Visitors to the studio will be able to buy my work
- I’m happy to undertake commissions – please ask!
- I can provide workshops private tuition
