Sam Sherborne

I make my sculptures to process memories and concerns and clarify my ideas as well as to generate ‘flow’. Communicating an emotion or feeling is paramount, but I also enjoy absorbing myself in blacksmithing, trying to take it somewhere a bit different. If a finished sculpture is in some way moving, beautiful or intriguing, as well as therapeutic to make, then I have realised my aim.

My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on the following days:

  Sunday May 12th

My Studio is an ex pub [The Vulcan] near the canal and the river. I have a forge in the beer cellar. My sculptures will be on view in a ground floor workshop.
